Control Luxor Android TV Using Google TV App

1. Download the Google TV app on your Android phone by navigating to the Play Store. If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can get this app from the App Store.

2. After turning on your Luxor Android TV, connect it to the same WiFi network that your Android or iPhone is connected to.

Use the IR Remote App to Control the Old Luxor TV

For old Luxor non-smart TVs, the Google TV app won’t work since it can only control Android TV. In that case, use any of the third-party IR remote apps available online to control your Luxor TV. All you need to use such apps is an Android phone with a built-in IR blaster. If you don’t know which IR remote app is compatible with Luxor TV, we have suggestions for you.

  • Luxor TV Remote
  • Remote for Luxor TV
  • Universal TV Remote Control

Run the remote app, choose a remote, and tap the Power button. If your Luxor TV does not turn off, select the next remote and press the Power button again. If your TV turns off, it confirms that your TV responds to the remote commands. Then, turn the Luxor TV back on and use the rest of the app icons to control your TV.

If you prefer not to use remote apps, you can buy a universal remote from Amazon. Then, program it with your Luxor TV using remote codes and use it to operate your TV hassle-free.
