How to Control Baird TV Using Remote App

If your Baird TV remote has been lost or not working properly, controlling your TV using physical buttons will be difficult. So, you can use the remote app to control the Baird TV from where you have been sitting. If you own a Baird Android TV, you can operate it via the Google TV app on your phone. To control old Baird TVs, you can use IR remote apps on an Android smartphone with an IR blaster.

Control the Baird Android TV using the Google TV App

Before you begin, connect your Baird TV and smartphone to the same WiFi connection.

1. Get the Google TV app on your Android or iPhone via the Play Store or App Store.

2. Launch the Google TV app and allow all the necessary permissions.

3. On the home screen of the Google TV app, click the TV remote option at the bottom of the screen. The app will start to search for nearby TV devices.

4. Select your Baird TV from the list and enter the code on your phone that appears on your TV screen.

5. Once you enter the code, hit the Pair button, and within seconds, your Baird TV will be paired with the Google TV app.

6. Your smartphone will display a remote interface, and you can use the control options on the interface to control your Baird TV.

Control the Baird TV Using the Baird TV Remote App

Baird TV Remote by CodeRanch27 is a third-party app developed to control Baird TVs. To use this remote app, your phone should have a built-in IR blaster. Since this application is available only on the Play Store, only Android users can install it.

1. Install the Baird TV remote app on your Android phone from the Play Store.

2. Run the Baird TV remote app on an Android phone and click on the Add Remote option.

3. Now, an interface with the Power button will appear on your phone’s screen.

4. Point your phone towards your TV and press the Power button. Tap Yes if your Baird TV turns off. This confirms that this remote app works with your Baird TV.

5. Turn on your TV again using the remote app and control it using the app’s remote interface.

Thus, you can use any of the above remote apps to control your Baird TV without a remote. If these remote apps doesn’t work with your TV, there is no other way other than purchasing a replacement remote for Baird TV.
