Do you want to experience a rich and deep bass on your Samsung Soundbar? You should definitely connect it to a subwoofer. Usually, the Samsung Soundbar can automatically pair with a subwoofer using a wired connection. For wireless subwoofers, you need to set it up manually using some basic steps. Here, we have demonstrated the steps to connect a Samsung soundbar to a subwoofer with and without a remote.
Steps to Connect Samsung Soundbar to Subwoofer Without Remote
1. Keep your Samsung soundbar and its subwoofer closer to each other.
2. Connect your soundbar’s power cord to the back of the soundbar and plug it into an electrical outlet. Likewise, connect the subwoofer with its power cord and attach it to the wall outlet.
3. Turn on the soundbar, and a blue LED light on the subwoofer will begin to blink.
4. Wait for a few seconds, and the soundbar and the subwoofer will connect automatically.
5. Once connected, the blue LED light on your subwoofer will stop blinking and glow continuously. This indicates that your soundbar is successfully connected to your subwoofer.
6. If the subwoofer is not connected to the soundbar and blinks continuously, unplug both the soundbar and subwoofer to repeat the process.
If it is not connected automatically, even after multiple attempts, then you can manually pair your soundbar to the subwoofer.
Steps to Connect Samsung Soundbar to Subwoofer With Remote
1. Plug the power cords of your soundbar and subwoofer to the electrical outlet.
2. At the back of your subwoofer, you will find a small ID SET button. Take a sharp or pointed object and press the ID SET button.
3. Long press the ID SET button until the Standby light powers off and the Blue LED light blinks rapidly.
4. Then, press the ID SET button on your soundbar while the soundbar is turned off. In some soundbars, you will not find the ID SET button. In that case, press and hold the Mute button on your soundbar remote control.
Note: If you don’t have a remote, you can use Samsung’s official Audio Remote app on your smartphone to control your soundbar. You can get this app for free by visiting the Play Store on your Android phone or tablet.
5. If the Mute button does not make ID SET appear on your soundbar’s display, hold the Up button on the remote until it shows.
6. Now, turn on your soundbar. While you power up your soundbar, make sure the LED light on the subwoofer blinks continuously.
7. The soundbar and the subwoofer are now connected successfully. You can confirm this by checking the solid blue LED light on the subwoofer.
