The number of HDMI ports on an LG Smart TV differs for each model. Some LG TVs have two ports, while others have three or even four ports. However, the steps for changing the input will be the same as they are all powered by the webOS operating system. To change the source on your LG TV, press the INPUT on the remote and select the preferred one. If you can’t use the Magic Remote, use the TV button, the LG ThinQ app, or a keyboard or mouse as a controller and change the TV source.

Other than the LG ThinQ app, there are third-party remote apps available online that you can install to control your LG TV. Since these IR remote apps use infrared signals to control your TV, it does not need a WiFi connection. If you are an iPhone user, you can use the IR remote app on it as it lacks a built-in IR blaster.
