Use Physical Buttons to Change the Brightness on the Samsung TV

As we all know, Samsung TVs mandatorily come with a physical button. On some Samsung TVs, there will be a control stick at the back of the TV. On some Samsung TVs, the TV controller will be located in the bottom center of the panel, just beneath the logo. You can access the TV menu by pressing the Center button. Then, you can navigate to Settings to change the brightness of your Samsung TV.

1. Bring up the Settings menu on your Samsung TV using the physical buttons.

2. Select the Picture option and scroll down to Expert Settings.

3. Tap the Brightness option and adjust the brightness according to your need using the physical buttons. You can also control the Contrast, Sharpness, Color, and Tint (G/R).

Using the Samsung TV’s dedicated SmartThings remote app, you can easily change the brightness. Just install the SmartThings app from the Play Store on your Android phone. If you use an iPhone, get the SmartThings app from the App Store.

After you install the app, you need to pair your TV with the app. To do so, your Samsung TV and mobile should be linked to the same WiFi connection. Once paired, use the remote interface to open Settings on your Samsung TV. Then, adjust the brightness on your Samsung TV using the Expert Settings option.

You can also use the IR remote apps to change the brightness on your Samsung TV. These IR remote apps work by emitting infrared signals, so WiFi is not required.
