Procedure to Pair Sky Q Remote to TV
There are four different types of Sky Q remotes. The forthcoming section explains the programming procedures for each remote in separate headings.
New Sky Q Touch or Sky Q Voice Control Remote
The pairing procedures for the Sky Q voice control and touch remotes are the same. Before proceeding, ensure your Sky Q box-connected TV is turned on.
1. Long-press the Sky Q remote’s 1 and 3 buttons simultaneously.
2. As a result, the Remote control Setup screen will open.
3. Click the Continue button and select your TV brand from the list.
4. Choose the Find it for me option.
5. Point the remote towards the TV and try changing the TV volume.
6. If your TV doesn’t respond, tap on No, try another button. The box will offer another setting to pair the remote.
Sky Q or Sky Q Accessibility Remote
Ensure your Sky Q box and TV are turned on and continue with the steps.
1. Grab the Sky Q remote and launch Settings.
2. Select Setup and click on Remote Control.
3. Choose your Sky Q remote model and tap on Control your TV option.
4. Select your TV brand name and choose the Find it for me option.
5. Long-press the Sky Q remote’s 1 and 3 buttons simultaneously.
6. Following that, enter the remote code that appears on the Sky Q box-connected screen.
7. Then, click the Sky Q remote’s volume buttons. Now, your TV volume should change.
8. If your TV doesn’t respond to any commands, select No, try another on the Sky Q box-connected screen.
