How to Control JVC TV Using Remote App

If your JVC TV remote doesn’t work or keeps unpairing, there is nothing to worry about. Install the remote app on your Android or iPhone and use it as a virtual remote for your JVC TV. Control JVC Fire TV Using the Amazon Fire TV App

If your JVC Fire TV remote is not working, you can use the Amazon Fire TV app as a substitute remote. Begin by connecting your smartphone and JVC Fire TV to the same WiFi.

1. Open the default app store on your iPhone or Android and install the Amazon Fire TV app.

2. Then, run the Amazon Fire TV application on your smartphone.

3. Click Accept on the displayed prompt to agree to the app permissions. Now, the app will scan for devices connected to the same WiFi network.

4. Once it detects your JVC TV, click on it. A code will appear on the JVC TV screen. Note it.

5. Enter the code on the Amazon Fire TV app to pair your JVC TV.

6. If the TV connection is successful, you will get a remote control layout on your mobile screen. Using that, you can operate your JVC Fire TV virtually.

Control JVC Android or Google TV Using the Google TV App

As a preliminary requirement, connect your JVC TV to the same WiFi as your iPhone or Android.

1. Search for the Google TV app on a built-in app store on your phone and install it.

2. After launching the app, click the Remote or Connect TV icon on the home screen.

3. Accept the app permission, and the app will search for nearby devices.

4. Choose your JVC Android/Google TV from the list shown and note the code appears on your TV screen.

5. Enter the code on the Google TV app and click the Pair option.

6. If the TV has been paired with the Google TV app, you will get a touchpad or D-pad control. With that, you can control your JVC Android/Google TV.

Control JVC TV Roku TV Using The Roku App

Ensure your JVC Roku TV is connected to the same WiFi network as your smartphone.

1. Install The Roku App on your iPhone or Android and launch it.

2. Tap Allow to grant the app permissions. Then, sign in with your Roku account or continue as a guest.

3. Hit the Devices button and choose your JVC Roku TV.

4. Once the app connects to the TV, tap the Remote icon to get a remote interface.

5. Press the remote keys on the app to control your JVC Roku TV.

Control JVC VIDAA Smart TV Using the VIDAA App

1. Start by connecting your JVC VIDAA Smart TV to the same WiFi as your iPhone or Android.

2. Visit the built-in store on your iPhone or Android and install the VIDAA app.

3. Run the VIDAA app on your phone. If you launch the app for the first time, tap Agree or Disagree on the Product Improvement prompt.

4. Click Allow to allow the app to find and connect to devices on your local network.

5. Tap Connect Device to look for devices. Select JVC VIDAA TV from the list.

6. Enter the PIN shown on the TV screen to complete the pairing process.

7. Tap the Remote icon to access the remote interface.

Using that, you can start controlling the JVC VIDAA TV.

Control JVC webOS TV Using the LG ThinQ App

1. Connect your iPhone or Android to WiFi, which should be on the same network as your JVC webOS TV is connected to.

2. Open the App Store or Play Store, search for LG ThinQ, and install the app.

3. Run the LG ThinQ app, tap Next, and sign in with the appropriate credentials.

4. Once logged in, click Add products and allow the app to access the device’s location.

5. Then, tap Select manually and click Next to find nearby devices you can connect to.

6. From the list, tap TV and choose your JVC webOS TV from the pop-up menu.

7. You will get an 8-digit code on the TV screen. Enter those numbers on the LG ThinQ app to link your TV.

8. Once paired, the control layout will appear on the mobile screen.

Using that, you can conveniently operate your JVC webOS TV on your phone.

Control JVC TiVo TV Using the TiVo App

1. Ensure your JVC TiVo TV has a WiFi connection, which should be on the same network as your phone is connected to.

2. Run the TiVo app on your smartphone. If you haven’t installed the app, get it from the official app store.

3. Sign in with your TiVo account and accept the permissions that the app prompts for it.

4. The app will auto-scan for devices nearby. Choose your JVC TiVo TV to pair.

4. After pairing, tap the Menu (hamburger) icon at the top and click Remote Control.

Now, you can use the remote interface to control your JVC TiVo TV.

Use IR Based Remote Apps to Control JVC TV

The above-mentioned remote apps work via WiFi signals. If you don’t have a wireless connection, you can use the IR-based remote app to operate the JVC TV. This can work only if your Android smartphone has a built-in IR blaster. Run the IR remote app and tap the Power key on the app to check if it works with the TV. If it turns off the TV, the remote pairing is complete. You can do all functions using the keys as the TV remote does.
